If you've done some online research about forming an LLC in Arizona, then you've seen a barrage of websites proclaiming to provide formation services at rock bottom prices. Most of these sites don't speak much about actual mechanics of a limited liability company, or the benefits of selecting it as your chosen business entity - much less an overview of state specific information relating to Arizona.

The fact of the matter is, is that an llc not complex to form.  An average person could learn what forms to select, where to file them and how to complete  "formation documents" in about 4 - 5 hours.  Then, to file Articles of Organization with the ACC, get them approved, and publish them in a legal newspaper, it would probably take about another 4 - 5 hours for the average person who has never filed an LLC before.

While preparing an Operating Agreement would be more challenging, sample forms for that purpose are readily available at many book stores or law libraries. By spending an evening or so reviewing that book, and studying forms and instructions on the ACC website a person would probably be comfortable with setting up an llc without any outside help.
